Believing in Sustainability. Religions Facing the Environmental Challenge
Jaime Tatay2019
This brief work discusses in a clear and synthetic way the attitude of the world’s religions to the challenge of sustainability. After pondering the relevance of the religious actors in this debate, the author examines ten interreligious keys for the care of the common home (the Earth): prophetic, ascetic, penitential, apocalyptic, sacramental, soteriological, mystical, community, sapiential and eschatological. Next, he offers several positive and operational ideas as conclusion. Finally, six questions for reflection are presented.
