Educación y espiritualidad. Una propuesta laica, libertaria y transcultural desde los estudios transpersonales
This doctoral thesis explores a new vision of education that integrates the spiritual dimension from a secular and libertarian perspective. The research is based on transpersonal studies, an interdisciplinary current that addresses human consciousness beyond ordinary experiences. The work proposes an education that, despite being secular, recognizes and respects the spiritual and cultural diversity of individuals, favoring a transcultural approach that transcends religious and ideological borders. The author argues that current education often ignores the soul and spirituality of the individual, focusing only on rational and academic learning. His proposal defends an education that integrates self-knowledge, the expansion of consciousness and the creation of spaces for personal and community experimentation. In addition, he highlights the importance of education as a means to foster personal freedom and social responsibility. The thesis, thus, seeks to open new horizons for an education that not only trains academically, but also responds to the spiritual and existential needs of people in a diverse and globalized world.
