El pensamiento en espiral. El paradigma de los pueblos indígenas
Víctor Manuel Gavilán Pinto2012
A broad exposition of indigenous thought, developed from the concept of the spiral, contrasted and complementary to Western linear thought, concepts that correspond to the respective conceptions of time. The work combines mythological, philosophical, historical, anthropological, moral and legal approaches, with testimonies of indigenous peoples of North America (Lakota, Seattle), Central America (Maya) and South America (Mapuche, Andean peoples). The last part presents a dialogue of traditional indigenous thought with some theories of modern Western physics: chaos theory, butterfly effect, etc.
