Essay Reflections On Traditional African Cosmology

Africa’s traditional cosmology is very diverse, but behind this diversity lies the core of shared beliefs which spread across the continent. This essay seeks to construct a framework of analysis out of the body of ideas that researchers in the field have agreed upon as the common elements in the various cosmological systems among Africa’s numerous ethnic groups.
