From the Heart of the World: The Elder Brothers’ Warning – Kogi Message to Humanity

The Elder Brothers’ Warning to Humanity was the world’s primary introduction to the Kogi and their crucial message to humanity about the serious negative consequences of modern Civilization way of existing on this Earth. It was an original proposal of the spiritual authorities (mamas) of the Kogi. It was released in 1992, but it has not been freely available online until recently.
The Kogi are one of the four indigenous peoples who are living and taking care of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia, the ‘Heart of the World’, declared National Natural Park by the Colombian government, and Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
The Organización Indígena Gonawindua Tayrona represents these ancestral custodians of the Heart of the World.
