From Practice to Policy to Practice: Connecting Faith and Conservation in Africa: A White Paper
Gambrill, Amy2011
This paper explores some of the current practices of connecting faith and conservation in sub-Saharan Africa, providing information on some of the faith groups doing conservation work, and presenting several case studies. It explores the range and diversity of organizations involved in faith-based conservation in Africa and the various tools, techniques, and methods being used to facilitate the discourse about religion and conservation. It is an effort to discuss and learn how best to partner with faith communities on biodiversity conservation in the African continent.
