Human Image: World Image1992
Before we can effectivelly deal with the ecological problems, we have to change our world image, and this, in turn menas that we have to change our self-image. Unless our own evaluation of ourselves and what constitutes our true nature of our being changes the way we treat the world around us will not change either. And unless that happens, cvonservation theory and practice, however well intentioned and necessary, will not touch the heart of the problem. They will at best represent an effort to deal with waht at the end are symptoms, not causes.
