The 19 articles use examples of Buddhist environmental protection projects in Asia and the United Estates to discuss the different branches of Buddhism: Theravada, Mahayana, Zen, etc., in terms of the doctrinal and theoretical standpoints that are essential for understanding their environmental ethics, and their practical application in environmental protection.
