Seeing God Everywhere. Essays on Nature and the Sacred
McDonald, Barry (ed.)2005
Anthology of 19 articles on nature and its sacred dimension, written by experts belonging to all the main human spiritual traditions: Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Judaism and various indigenous religions. The authors include the Dalai Lama, S. H. Nasr, Lord Norbourne, Hari Prasad Sastri and F. Schuon. The introduction is by Satisk Kumar. Included is a selection of short poems from a variety of cultures and epochs. All in all, these essays reveal the need to understand the global ecological crisis from a spiritual perspective, and provide highly interesting ways of restoring the idea of creation as theophany, revelation and work of the Creator.
