Resolution on the protection of sacred heritage sites, buildings and  landscapes

Recalling the work of several ICOMOS’s National Committees and the resolutions on religious heritage adopted by the 14th, 15th and 16th General Assemblies of ICOMOS, this resolution welcomesthe establishment of an ICOMOS working group towards the foundation of a new International Scientific Committee to address the sacred/spiritual/religious heritage, and encourages the working group to seek cooperation with the International Scientific Committeess on Cultural Routes, Cultural Landscapes and Intangible Cultural Heritage.
