Silene establishes agreements with three publishers

On the occasion of St. George’s Day 2020, when we made proposals for readings related to the topics and perspective we are dealing with, the Silene association established collaboration agreements with its authors and publishers to offer, free of charge, relevant chapters of these works from the Documentation Center of this website.

Thus, one can found in PDF format, in both Catalan and Spanish, the following chapters: “The significance technocracy against” the book “Angels robots” Jordi Pigem; “Ecological way: the sacredness of the land and the cultivation of sobriety” from the book “Towards a time of synthesis” by Xavier Melloni, and “Contemplation, action and commitment” by Mónica Cavallé, published in the book edited by Olga Fajardo under the title “The contemplative experience. In mysticism, philosophy and art.” These chapters have their own thematic unity, so reading them is also valuable in itself, although they acquire their full meaning in the context of the book as a whole.

We are, therefore, at the beginning of a line of work of Silene that starts from the understanding with three publishers of recognized quality and specialization of its catalogs: Fragmenta Editorial, Editorial Kairós and Viena Edicions, all of them committed to the depth and the plurality of books they publish. We plan to expand this initiative, adding more texts by these and other authors and publishers to our Documentation Center.
