The article offers a vibrant account of the models of resilient self-management in the Valencian Country, Spain, based on the example of the ‘Horta de València” one of the largest historical horticultural systems of the Medierranean region, with communal irrigation management, which has resisted over the centuries, well contextualized, considering the current challenges and threats, with hopeful contemporary reflections and proposals.
