3rd International Conference on the Potential of Forests in the Health and Well-Being

This new congress will mean a step forward in the update in biomedical research on the potential of forests in the health and well-being of people and will provide a meeting place for knowledge and exchange of experiences from around the world in the use and valorization of these services. A relevant milestone will be the creation of an international cooperation space between the set of forest networks with therapeutic functionality from different continents that will work to harmonize quality and certification standards.
The event, organized by the Sèlvans Association, in Girona and Olot (Catalonia, Spain) will culminate with a declaration in defense of the natural forests as health and welfare provider spaces for contemporary societies. Josep-Maria Mallarach (Silene Association) will make a presentation on the links between mature forests and spiritual health.
The congress is aimed at all people and organizations that have an interest in expanding the knowledge and capacity for conservation and valorization of nature in general, and forests of high ecological value in particular; to those who develop activities in the natural environment; to the owners and owners of public or private forests; professionals, managers, technical and research staff of health sciences, welfare, environment, and forest management; postgraduate and master’s students, and doctoral students in these subjects.
The languages of the congress are Engish, Catalan and Spanish.
