Cultural and Spiritual Values of Mountain the International IPROMO course

The Mountain Partnership  (an international voluntary alliance, operating within the framework of FAO, dedicated to improving the lives of mountain people and villages and protecting their environments) is organizing an international course this July, under the motto “Youth and the future of mountain forests” in the alpine villages of Pieve Tesino and Ormea, in the Piemonte region of Italy. The workshop on the 21st, adressing the cultural and spiritual values of nature in mountain management and governance, will be in charge of the IUCN Specialist Group on Cultural and Spiritual Values of Protected Areas, represented by  Josep Maria Mallarach, president of the Silene association.
