Dialogue: Is the Earth alive? Indigenous peoples’ and contemporary perspectives

The Silene Association and Faberllull, with the collaboration of Núria Social will offer an event in Olot, Catalonia, on Friday, October 16, from 7-9 pm, on the subject: Is the Earth alive? Indigenous peoples’ and contemporary perspectives, with the participation of the writer Laia Llobera, the philosopher-political scientist Jorge Riechmann, the biologist-philosopher Andreas Weber, and the philosopher of science Jordi Pigem. The first three participate in the Liternature residency in Faberllull, Olot. The dialogue will be presented and moderated by Josep Maria Mallarach, president of the Silene Association. In these times of systemic crisis (health, social, climate, biodiversity, etc.) and growing uncertainties, we need to rethink the paradigms that have led us and explore visions that help us move towards a new possible balance, fairer and more frugal.
