Green Prescription – World Forest Day

Session on Health and Nature in Can Trona, Les Preses, Catalonia.

At 5:00 p.m. Green Prescription: documentary, presentation of the study and discussion. Presentation of the benefits that nature brings to our health and the results obtained from the Retrobar el Equilibrio program (Les Preses and Vall d’en Bas) followed by the screening of the documentary with testimonials from the participants. Presentation of the study of guided immersions into nature as a green recipe that has begun in the region of La Garrotxa (Catalonia) and subsequent discussion with: Quionia Villar, doctor from the Les Preses Center or Primary Care and program coordinator; Glòria Bassets, doctor from the basic health areas of Vall d’en Bas and Sant Joan les Fonts and Laia Sadurní, therapeutic forests guide.

Before starting there will be time to consult the mobile library of the Documentation Center of the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxa on the links between health and nature as well as to visit the exhibition of wild plants of La Garrotxa.
