International Conference on the Sacred Sites of Indigenous Peoples in Northern and Arctic Regions

Co-organised by the Artic Centre of the University of Lapland in Rovaniemi, the Université de Montréal, and the Thematic Network on Arctic Law a conference will be held in Finland on Sacred Sites of Indigenous Peoples in Northern and Arctic Regions. The conference is entitled: “Protecting the Sacred: Recognition of Sacred Sites of Indigenous Peoples for Sustaining Nature and Culture in Northern and Arctic Regions”.

The conference will be on 11-13 September 2013 in Rovaniemi and Pyhä, Finland. The abstract deadline is 28 February 2013.
