On Values, Culture, Art and Philosophy around Rivers and Riparian Forests

The LIFE Alnus Project with the Centre de Recerques Forestals de Catalunya, la Diputación de Barcelona y la Agència Catalana de l’Aigua are organizing a day dedicated to values, culture, art and philosophy around rivers and riparian forests, next Friday, June 10, at gardens of the castle of Montesquiu, central Catalonia.

The day consists of four presentations, on the four aspects indicated by the title, followed by a round table, a vermouth and a poetry recital. The Silene Association is collaborating with a lecture by Josep Maria Mallarach, which will deal with the cultural and spiritual values of rivers and riparian forests as well as the attitudes that emerge from them.  The language will be Catalan.
