6th edition Postgrad Course on Spiritual Meanings and Values of Nature

The Fundació Universitat de Girona offers the 6th edition of the Postgraduate Course on spiritual meanings and values of Nature: perception, communication, management and integration. The course will addresses the issue in a rigorous and inclusive way, combining theory and practice, offering a space for reflection on the ultimate reasons that commit us to live and act in favor of nature, as well as the implications that these reasons have towards personal and collective ethics, in line with the prevailing ecology, as well as related tools and techniques, to be able to integrate them in the daily work of organizations and entities, whether public, private or the third sector.
The course which is led by Dr. Josep Maria Mallarach and coordinated by Dr. Josep Gordi, and involves ten more teachers. The Silene Association has been actively involved in it since the beginning.
Calendar: From February 12 to July 30, 2021. It is organized in four modules (specialization courses) grouped on weekends, to which it is possible to enroll separately, as well as a day at sea. Like last year, the restrictions imposed by the authorities as a result of the health crisis may change the planned dates. The inaugural session, on March 5th, at the University of Girona, is open to all interested people.
Place: The initial and final classes will be held at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Girona – Campus Barri Vell. The first three modules will take place in El Miracle (Solsonès) and the fourth module in Montsant (Priorat), i.e. in selected holy sites of Catalonia.
