Postgraduate course on the spiritual values and meanings of Nature: perception, communication, management and integration

The University of Girona (Catalonia) has opened the registration for the second edition of the postgraduate course on the meanings and spiritual values of nature: perception, communication, management and integration. The course intends to address the issue of a rigorous and inclusive manner, both from a theoretical and applied points of view. The course will provide a space for reflection of the deepest reasons we have to commit ourselves to live and act in favor of Nature. It will also discuss the implications that these reasons have towards personal and collective ethics, along the deep ecology approaches, to integrate them into the daily operation of organizations and institutions, whether public, private or from the third sector.
The Silene Association collaborates with the course, which is directed by its coordinator, Josep-Maria Mallarach.
Calendar: From February 3 to July 14, 2016. The course is organized into three modules (specialized courses) where it is possible to enroll separately.
Language: Catalan
Location: The initial and final classes will be held at the Faculty of Arts, University of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. The rest, grouped in three days per month, will be held in Casa d’Espiritualitat del Miracle (Catalonia).
Duration: 250 hours (80 classroom hours and 220 hours of study and tutoring / 12 ECTS).
