Yale University free courses on Religions and Ecology
Yale University, USAJannuary 2023
If you are an undergraduate, graduate student, or faculty member at an academic institution that does not offer courses at the intersection of religion and ecology, any of Yale University’s six newly designed courses—hosted on the Coursera online learning platform—can function as a blueprint for Directed Readings or Independent Study: Introduction to Religions and Ecology; Indigenous Religions and Ecology; South Asian Religions and Ecology; East Asian Religions and Ecology; Western Religions and Ecology; and Christianity and Ecology.
There is a need for broader literacy and deeper knowledge of the world’s religions and their ecological contributions. These courses contribute such a perspective. If you wish to learn about this subject, all educational resources within these Yale/Coursera courses are available at no cost. Contact your registrar today and learn how to receive course credits in religion and ecology (with a Directed Readings or Independent Study) at your academic institution.
