Documentary on a federation of 90 village assemblies ( gram sabhas) in Korchi Taluka, Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra State in India. It shows the story of these gram sabhas, supported by their federation moving towards social, political, economic and ecological transformation and re-defining development and wellbeing. Recognition of their community right over their traditional forests was one of the important triggers for this process to unfold. Currently, they are engaged in a struggle against the district administration which, threatened by the economic and social power of these villages, is trying to weaken the power of these village assemblies.
