It seems increasingly clear that freeing ourselves from the idolatry of consumption and growth requires transforming the personal and collective imagination, radically transforming our way of understanding the world and understanding ourselves. And it is at this crossroads that traditional, non-capitalist spiritualities seem to have enough to say again. Vivifying spiritualities that converge with epistemological alternatives, counter-hegemonic mysticimss and emancipatory worldviews. A change of direction, as an adaptive response to the inevitable collapse from active hope and compromised resilience.
