Natura i espiritualitat pels nostres temps

Eutopia was a project of spirituality in and with Nature (also called mountain monastery) that the Catholic priest Joan Escales carried out in Enviny, his native village in the Pallars Sobirà county, Catalan Pyrenees, from the early 1990s until recently before his death in 2019. On the occasion of the anniversary of his passing, a collective book was published in Catalan that collects and claims his legacy.

The epilogue of the work, Natura i espiritualitat pels nostres temps, urges the re-sacralization of the world and a transformation that gives rise to a “regenerated ethic with a spiritual basis that reintegrates Nature at its center”. It also includes a call in favor of maintaining and proliferating projects rooted in the land, such as Eutopia, nurturing a deep  relationship between people, their environment and spirituality.
