Course on Nature, Art and Spirituality at the Henri Lenaerts Centre, Navarra

The Henri Lenaerts Foundation has invited the Silene Association to teach a course on “Nature, Art and Spirituality” this early autumn in Navarra, Spain. The course will be about the aesthetic experience of Nature and Art, and how this – which resonates with what is most essential in the human being, including its fundamental aspirations and feelings – provides spiritual openings to people, which enhance their longing to care for life and to safeguard the land and its heritage, which is both individual and collective.

The sessions, which will combine theoretical  with experiential parts, will be distributed between the Helène room and the gardens of the Henri Lenarts Center in Irurre, Guesálaz, and in the ancient Cistercian Monastery of Santa Maria la Real d’Irantzu, Abárzuza. On behalf of Silene, Josep Maria Mallarach and Xavier Peranau will lead the course.
