On behalf of Silene Association and The Delos Initiative, Josep-Maria Mallarach attended an International Conference on Sacred Species and Sites (3S), organized by the Centre of Landscape and People of the University of Cambridge, and held in Cambridge, England, on 24-26 September 2007.
Josep-Maria presented a working paper written with Thymio Papayannis (joint-coordinators of the Delos Initiative), entitled: The Delos Initiative 2004-2007. Task Force on Cultural and Spiritual Values of Protected Areas.
The contributions of the conference were gathered in the volume ‘Sacred Species and Sites. Advances in Biocultural Conservation‘ coordinated by Gloria Pungetti, Gonzalo Oviedo & Della Hooke, published by Cambridge University Press in 2012.
