Reviving Our Culture, Mapping Our Future

This brief documentary shows how Indigenous clans of Sale, in the province of Limpopo (Republic of South Africa) come together with allies from Kenya, Ghana and Benin, to draw up maps and eco-cultural calendars, also called “talking tools “, with the intention of reviving its traditional culture, protecting the diversity of seeds and their sacred natural places.
The workshop was organized by the Mupo Foundation, associated with The Gaia Foundation, which produced the video in 2010.
