Endinsa’t Project: Creation of ecotherapeutic and spiritual spaces in the municipality of Bossòst
Bossòst, Vall d'Aran, Spain2017
Following the proposal of the Silene Association, the Bossòst Town Hall, Val d’Aran, Catalonia, decides to launch the Endinsa’t (Go deep down) project in 2017, as an opportunity for socioeconomic reconversion of the territory, as opposed to the current model of tourism based on fast, global experiences that banish it, focusing on heritage as a seasonal tourist resource with little effect on these most characteristic and profound values.
The project Endinsa’t raises its axis of action based on three spaces located within the municipal limits of Bossòst that present in a differentiated way with a clear gradient of generalization as we move away from the nucleus of the municipality. Following the integrating vocation and taking advantage of the diversity and richness of the present resources, it proposes to enhance the religious cultural heritage of Bossòst, considering the presence of hermitages in the vicinity of the nucleus, as well as its various advocates; and enter in the woods to enjoy nature baths and contemplate the landscape, taking advantage of the properties of mature woods for the well-being and the emergence of spiritual prowess experiences in places of great landscape magnificence.
