II International Colloquium on the Sacra Saxa: the sacred stones of the Iberian Peninsula

The Institute of Altoaragonese Studies, in collaboration with the Cabinet of Antiquities of the Royal Academy of History and the Ibercaja Foundation announces the II International Symposium on the Sacra Saxa: the sacred stones of the Iberian Peninsula, which will be held in Huesca, Aragon, Spain, on the 21, 22 and 23 November 2019.
The new information obtained in more than twenty Spanish provinces will be provided, collected in fifteen interventions that will make known the most current status of these investigations, in the double aspect of study and interpretation of monuments and assessment and dissemination as elements of greatest interest for the archaeological and landscape heritage, to which the last day will be dedicated, to discuss the conclusions and present new proposals for action.
