Bonaventure
The Journey of the Mind to God1259
For one who has the spirit and heart purified by the grace of God and holiness of life, all things manifest the presence of their Creator. Therefore, whoever is not enlightened by such great splendor in created things is blind; whoever remains unheedful of such great outcries is deaf; whoever does not praise God in all these effects is dumb. And one that doesn’t discover the First Principle with such clear signs, he is crazy.
